10 am - Neethu reached the department. No sign of our guide in the cabin.

10:35 am - I reached. Guide is present in her cabin.

11:30 am - Gulabi reaches

11:48 am - Shuba aunty comes and tells Gulabi the Guide is calling her into the cabin. 

The guide asked to recompile the list of journals we gave her, following the format compiled by the Hindi and law departments and submit the reworked list by today itself. 

11:55 am - Gulabi has gone to ask the ASO and the Computer Assistant in the office if they could contact the office of the Hindi department to mail the format. They tried contacting Firoz from the Hindi department but could not reach them. Informed that they will let us know once they can reach him.

Office people tried contacting Firoz sir, but he did not pick up the call, probably due to election duty.

Firoz sir came to our office around 2pm. Gulabi went to ask for his help in our office, but ASO told her they are doing some important work and told her she would be called when Firoz sir is free. By 3:30 pm, Gulabi went to the office to check if he was free, but Majeed informed that Firoz sir had left for lunch and would be back. It was nearing closing time for all other departments. So Gulabi and I went to the Hindi department office asking for a journal format. The office people were unaware of such a format and directed us to meet their librarians. The main librarian showed us a format which included only the sl. no., title, and amount. The hindi librarian told us that the due date for the journal list for this academic year was feb 2026. Our guide had asked for the list on March 10, 2026 which we had given. Currently it is March 26, 2026, which means the due date for submission has passed. Since guide had informed Gulabi that she had a meeting to attend the next day, we are assuming that the list is for her to show for the same. 

By the time Neethu, gulabi and I finished compiling the list, it was past 5 pm and the guide had left. So Gulabi called the guide and informed that the list was done and whatsapped her a picture of the same.
